Erstwilder Brooch - Terry Runyan Reluctant Wingman
With its large, colourful bill, this hand-assembled toucan brooch known affectionately as the Reluctant Wingman, makes for the kind of art accessory that people notice. The printed details of the beak contrast nicely with the textured black resin of the bird's body making it a great companion to any of the Catmen Miranda pieces in the collection.

A little bit of advice from a renowned breakfast enthusiast: if one can accomplish all one's goals in only a day, then think about what toucan do.
Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be fingerprint marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.
Brooch clasps, necklace chains, and jump rings are made from silver-plated steel. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel.
Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high quality silver-plating in our brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water, and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come.
