Erstwilder Brooch x Pete Cromer - Likeable Little Penguin
Please note each piece may differ from one to the next, and to the 'The Likeable Little Penguin' brooch pictured. The design features a mix of magnificent marbled resins which can differ from piece to piece, as well as a number of smaller parts that will feature different colours depending on the piece you're lucky enough to receive. As Pete Cromer himself says: “They are all unique souls, therefore no two will ever be the same.”
A very special collaboration with beloved Australian artist Pete Cromer, this brilliant Penguin brooch has been brought to life from a combination of marbled and solid resins. He's lovingly designed, hand-assembled and hand-painted, and he thinks you're the perfect model to display his waddle.
Waddle on over little friend. How lovely your feathers look today, have a fish.
Original Design: Pete Cromer
Height 65 mm x Width 44 mm
Each piece is made from laser cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be finger print marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand mixed nature of the resins in our our designs it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.
Brooch clasps, necklace chains and jump rings are made from silver-plated steel. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel.
Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high quality silver-plating in our brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come.
